We had a couple friends over on Saturday to celebrate Emma's 3rd Birthday. Emma knew the party was set to start at 10am and woke up at 615 asking when her friends were coming over. :) She had fun going with Kurt to pick out some princess balloons that served as both decorations and party favors.
Emma and her friends, Robert, Natalie, and Cameron (unfortunately, Claire was sick and couldn't make it) had fun decorating foam picture frames with princess themed stickers. They also had great fun running around and playing before we had pizza, strawberries and pineapple, and animal crackers and pretzels for lunch. After we ate, the kids had fun playing dress up in Emma's princess costumes -- yes, even the boys participated! Of course, we ended with a castle cake that Kurt and I made together. :) (Truth be told, Kurt did most of the stars because my hands weren't warm enough to get the icing pliable enough.)
Emma and her friends had a great time!
