Kurt and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary over Labor Day weekend! It's hard to believe that it's been so long! It seems like just last year we got married! We always say to each other, 6 years down, forever to go! =)
We had a good but long weekend. We headed up to his parents on Friday afternoon and spent the night there. Emma got to camp out that evening with Grandma in the backyard! She did great and slept the whole night in the tent. I'm pretty sure I was asleep before she was that night! On Saturday, Kurt, Mia and I packed up and drove to Allentown to the Allentown Museum of Art to view the Edge of Art: Art of the Fantastic exhibit. Mia did great during the car trip and the entire time we were at the museum. That evening we went to the Allentown Fair for dinner. Mia did great here too, but may have had an allergic reaction to pollen in the air. Poor baby. We indulged on Amish made pretzels, Gyro, lemonade, and funnel cake. Mia had a very rough night that night. We thought she had a cold, but maybe it was allergies. At any rate, we watched a lot of cable and spent a lot of time holding the baby.
After breakfast on Sunday, we drove to Bethlehem to look at the Steel Stacks. It was an overcast morning and threatened to rain, so we didn't stay long. On the way back to Kurt's parents, we stopped at the biggest Cabella's we'd ever seen. Mia saw her first fish and was quite amazed. That evening, we left Mia at home and went out for Thai food. Kurt's Mom watch Mia for us all night so we could get a good night's sleep.
After a slow Monday morning, we stopped at Kurt's Grandma's house where a family picnic was taking place. After saying hi to everyone, we had to get on the road so we could get home, unpacked and ready for the week!
We did quite a lot over the weekend and had a lot of fun!
