This past weekend at Carrie's parents' was the first time that Emma got Mia to laugh all by herself! Mia has smiled at Emma before but it was at lunch on Sunday, that Emma got Mia to laugh. As posted earlier, Mia things the word disgusting is hysterical. Emma started telling it to Mia and got some giggles out of her. Sunday evening, Mia was in her bumbo seat in the bathroom with us during Emma's bath and Emma had fun saying disgusting to Mia and getting giggles in return. I told Emma to tell Mia she was pretty and we got the same reaction!
Mia's laughs are infectious and instantly make us all happy!
On another note, Mia is discovering different sounds and spent most of today screeching in what we call the baby pterodactyl imitation. It's ear piercing!
