Emma's iPhone

The back cover of a magazine is an ad for the iPhone4. When Emma saw it last week, she immediately picked it up and started using her index finger to 'slide' the screen. We were both amazed and amused as Emma continued to pretend to look at pictures. When we asked her where she learned it, she told us from Aunt Katie and Lehua and Uncle David who had visited us on separate occasions and showed her pictures on their 'smart' phones. (We live in the dark ages and have 'dumb' phones.) Emma has picked up the magazine several times to use her phone since she first saw the ad. I think I'm going to cut it out and glue it to cardboard so she can play with it for a while and not just until I recycle the magazine.
